My name is Bridget Cardenas Pazmino, but my friends call me Brilli. Why Brilli? It is supposed to be pronounced as Brigi, but the double ll sounds like a G or Y in Spanish, depending on the country’s dialect. I thought a nickname would help Spanish speakers with pronunciation, but it backfired with English speakers.

The 9th of July is my birthday, I was born in London, but I am 100% Ecuadorian due to my parents being from Ecuador. I am a journalist, singer, MSc marketing communications graduate, photographer, content creator, tutor, retoucher, and illustrator.

I have always wanted to start a blog but never pushed on the idea. But with 2022 being the year of the Tiger, I wanted to begin to achieve my goals. Those close to me know I would love to become a singer, but fear and doubt have stopped me from that. If I manage to achieve this in the future, I can say ‘thank God I tried’. If not, then at least I tried, and all the good, the bad, and the ugly things I go through would turn into positive learning experiences. Of which, I could talk to you via this platform.
